Albert Pritchard Infant and Wood Green Junior Federated Schools
On behalf of the Governors, staff and pupils of Albert Pritchard Infant and Wood Green Junior Federated Schools, may we extend a very warm greeting and thank you for taking the time to view our website.
This site states the aims and philosophy of our Federated School. We are committed to provide the children with a caring atmosphere for active learning and have a high quality staff who continually strive to achieve the highest standards of teaching and learning.
It is very difficult to cover every aspect of school life and if there are any
questions you might have which are not answered in this site then please do contact the school.
We hope the journey through the following pages gives you a flavour of our school community.
Our school ethos: Creative Dreams Brighter Futures.
Mission: The starting point for learning is a positive ethos and climate of respect and trust based upon shared values across the school community, including parents of children and young people.
Children and young people should be encouraged to contribute to the life and work of the school and, from the earliest stages, to exercise their responsibilities as members of a community.
This includes opportunities to participate responsibly in decision-making, to contribute as leaders and role models, to offer support and service to others and to play an active part in putting the values of the school community into practice.
At APWG we will develop your Creative Dreams.
At APWG a Brighter Future you will see.
At APWG you become part of our school family – Altogether, Playing, Working and Growing.
At APWG we are united in harmony,
So that when you leave us you will be all knowing.
