The aim of Geography at APWG is for children to gain an understanding of different places and environments through learning about their local area and how this compares to life in other regions in the UK and the rest of the world.

Through our Geography curriculum, children will engage in fieldwork studies, to be able to think like, act like and talk like a Geographer. We endeavour for children to develop a love of learning for Geography whilst developing a broad and deep knowledge of geographical vocabulary, terms and contexts.

It is our intention that, our Geography lessons are inspiring and engaging so that children can realise their maximum potential as Geographers. We are confident that children will make good progress in Geography throughout their journey at APWG.
