Music is a subject that is enjoyed throughout our lives.

We believe that music plays an important role in children’s development. Music encourages children to move around and dance; develop their language skills; improve problem solving skills and improves fine motor skills. It also helps to instil a sense of confidence.

This all supports their learning in every aspect of their school life. Throughout their time in school, children will learn how music has been influenced over time and control sounds through singing, playing, composing, responding, reviewing and listening.
